Hilary Nunan
Colour, texture and a love of nature constantly play a part in the work of Hilary Nunan, a graduate of the Crawford College of Art & Design in Cork in 1997 achieving a first class honour fine art degree. She has nurtured the use of mixed materials in her work which include a combination of natural fibres and acrylic colour.
Responding to nature in different forms and styles Hilary’s work ranges from impasto paintings to her most recent pod forms which pares nature down to its elements and focuses on colour, form and a play of movement through shadow.
